The lentiviral vectors produced by VIVEbiotech are used to treat a range of disorders, including haematological and solid cancers, and rare diseases.

Your role

We are looking for a Room Assembly Technician to perform this key function reporting directly to the Devices and Documentation Team Leader.

You will perform the necessary operations for the assembly of batch devices, in strict compliance with GMP quality and safety requirements, as well as support throughout the production process (EPIS management, waste management, cleaning support, etc.).

Your responsibilities

  • You will perform manufacturing and assembly tasks of the devices of the batches to be manufactured (development, engineering batches, GMPs) as well as others that may be necessary for specific tasks.
  • You will maintain stocks and expirations within the devices assembled in your section, requesting material for new assemblies if necessary.
  • You will respect the GMP quality standards during all phases of manufacturing, as well as the biosafety and PRL safety standards of the workplace, both in clothing and in the EPIS, as in the manipulations to be developed.
  • You will complete the necessary records for the development of the job and perform administrative tasks to support the process, for the proper development of the same.
  • You will collaborate in the drafting of procedures, investigations, CAPAs and all the tasks that lead to the continuous improvement of the process.
  • You will perform auxiliary tasks to the batch manufacturing process (waste management, locker room management, PPE management, etc…).

About you

  • You have, preferably, higher vocational training or university degree related to Assembly, Logistics, Administration, etc.
  • Previous experience as a stocker, assembler, cleaner, etc. will be an asset.
  • You have a great facility in the use of computer systems applicable to management (ERPs, Documentary Systems, Excel, etc.).
  • You are a person oriented to high quality (excellence and self-demanding), organized and tidy.
  • You have good communication skills both verbal and written in Spanish and English (valuable).
  • You are able to work in a team and under deadlines.
  • You have the ability to work effectively within a team and you are proactive.
  • You are a responsible and rigorous person in what you do, demonstrating a high capacity for work, when there is a high demand for results and deadlines.
  • You always show a positive attitude towards change.
