Graduate in Biochemistry and Doctor in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine, both from the University of the Basque Country.

During her dissertation work carried out at the Inbiomed Foundation, an institution specialized in advanced therapies located in San Sebastian, she produced lentiviral vectors to silence or over-express genes in different types of stem cells, among other multiple tasks. During this period she made several stays abroad: one at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, USA, and two additional at the Università degli Studi “Magna Graecia” di Catanzaro in Catanzaro, Italy.

In 2011 she assumed the role of Business Development and Marketing Coordinator at Inbiomed Foundation, where among other activities she took on the launch of its four core facilities, one of them for the production of lentiviral vectors, to the market.

Naiara has been part of VIVEbiotech since its creation in 2015. She is currently the Head of Communications.
