Valero, PhD

Graduate in Chemistry from the University of Zaragoza, and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Twente, The Netherlands.

Ana has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of micro and nanotechnologies, particularly in the development of innovative biosensors based on microfluidics, and in the combination of spectroscopic and electrical techniques together with surface chemistry, giving rise to emerging technologies for different application fields as early diagnosis of diseases, environmental or agrotechnology & food science.

With a solid scientific career, she has played an important role in renowned Technological European Centers such as the Mesa+ Institute of Nanotechnology in the Netherlands, the MicroNanoTechnology Center (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland, and the CIC nanoGUNE in Donostia, where she has managed and coordinated multidisciplinary research projects with international teams.

In 2021 she obtained her double Master´s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Currently, Ana is the Head of Technology Transfer at VIVEbiotech.
