Rocio Arroyo, CEO of Amadix, was elected president of AseBio. The new vice-presidents were also elected: Carlos Buesa, CEO of Oryzon Genomics SA (first vice-presidency), Cristina Nadal, executive director of Policy at MSD España (second vice-presidency), and Adriana Casillas, CEO and co-founder of Tebrio (third vice-presidency).
Along with Gurutz, 7 other members were elected: Elena Rivas from Arrays for Cell Nanodevices, Isabel Portero from BIOHOPE, Sara Secall from Inveready, Bosco Emparanza from MOA foodtech, Elisa Borrego from PharmaMar, Javier Terriente from ZeClinics, and Francesc Mitjans from Leitat.
