VIVEbiotech will be present at BioSpain 2016, the biotechnology biennial

VIVEbiotech will take part this year in the eighth edition of BioSpain 2016, the biotechnology sector’s biennial event, which will bring together companies and organizations in the field at the BEC in Barakaldo (Bizkaia) on September 28, 29, and 30.

VIVEbiotech is attending this event with its own booth located in the Biobasque pavilion, dedicated to the development and consolidation of new businesses in the biosciences sector.

In addition, Juan Carlos Ramírez, VIVEbiotech’s Scientific‑Technical Director, will give a talk as part of the session entitled: ‘CRISPR: The technology born in Spain that is turning the industry upside down.’

New features at this fair include the Patient Forum on rare diseases, multiple sclerosis, and the work carried out by patient associations.

The organizers expect around 50 investors, 855 companies, and more than 2,000 attendees, who will take part in approximately 3,300 meetings—key opportunities to discuss innovation, the bioeconomy, nanobiotechnology, new oncology therapies, or big data, as well as parallel sessions on public policy for access to innovation.
