VIVEbiotech participates in Biospain 2016 with its own stand
VIVEbiotech took part this year in the eighth edition of BioSpain 2016, the biennial event for the biotechnology sector, with its own stand in the Biobasque pavilion, dedicated to the development and consolidation of new businesses in the life sciences sector.
Juan Carlos Ramírez, VIVEbiotech’s Scientific and Technical Director, delivered a talk during the session titled “CRISPR: The technology born in Spain that is turning the industry upside down”, which analyzed innovation in biotechnology and its evolution.
The Bilbao Exhibition Center hosted 700 companies and 1,500 attendees. The eighth edition of Biospain was organized by the Spanish Association of Bioenterprises (ASEBIO) and SPRI, the Basque Business Development Agency under the Basque Government, coinciding with the celebration of European Biotechnology Week.
