Natalia Elizalde Shares VIVEbiotech’s Perspective on Commercial Readiness at Advanced Therapies London 2026

This was one of the key topics discussed during the latest Roving Reporter episode by The Medicine Maker in partnership with IBTV, recorded live at Terrapinn’s Advanced Therapies Congress London 2026.

Among the featured speakers, Natalia Elizalde, PhD, Chief Business Development Officer at VIVEbiotech, shared her perspective on how changing investment dynamics are influencing development strategies across the advanced therapies field.

At minute 09:12 of the interview, Natalia commented:

The shift in capital is having an impact because obviously the projects that are invested are the ones that they do have a higher probability to reach commercial phases. So, from this point of view, commercial readiness is being had into account from the very earliest stages of programs.”

Her remarks highlight the growing importance of considering long-term development and commercialization objectives early in the lifecycle of advanced therapy programs.

At VIVEbiotech, we support developers with lentiviral vector manufacturing solutions designed to help advance programs from early development through clinical stages and future commercialization. By combining technical expertise with scalable manufacturing approaches, we work alongside our partners to help meet the evolving requirements of advanced therapy development.

We are proud to contribute to industry discussions that help shape the future of cell and gene therapies and improve access to innovative treatments for patients worldwide.
