Transfer and Innovation in Biomedicine
The Second Symposium on New Tools for Gene Editing, organized among others by VIVEbiotech, focused on the various applications of CRISPR-Cas tools, which are already being implemented in different laboratories across the country—both in basic research labs and in applied research units with a more translational approach.
In this latter case, the focus is on developing new experimental therapies using cellular and animal models, with the ultimate goal of eventually transferring them to patients.
The event held in Madrid served as a meeting point to deepen knowledge on technology transfer in the translation of results in biomedicine, exploring the most prominent tools and processes currently available in this field.
