Your role
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in this role to join our team of Project Managers in the Business Development department.
The mission of this key position will be to coordinate project management internally to ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with the planned technical scope and corresponding deliverables, within the agreed-upon timelines and in line with the budget. To this end, you will work directly with the client to ensure that the project is executed according to the planned scope.
Your responsibilities
- You will actively support the development and maintenance of a loyal and growing client portfolio through optimal management of customized projects (CDMO) that meet their needs, ensuring the agreed-upon technical scope is delivered on schedule with the appropriate deliverables.
- You will manage the client relationship throughout the duration of the project, serving as the point of contact responsible for organizing virtual client meetings, either at VIVEbiotech or, if applicable, at the client’s headquarters.
- You will negotiate additional project scope with the client, including drafting proposals that outline the work to be undertaken.

- You will negotiate new project objectives or additional conditions with the client (preparing a specific addendum that includes a detailed technical description, deadlines, and the budget)
- You will coordinate internal activities to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within the technical scope, and within budget.
- You will attend international biotechnology/pharmaceutical conferences and events with our Business Development team as needed.
- You will participate in client negotiation meetings to understand their complexity or to subsequently ensure a smooth handover of the negotiated project for its proper management when necessary.
- You will provide support in identifying clients, conducting market research, contacting potential clients, or preparing for trade shows and conferences as needed.
About you
- University degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, etc. A Ph.D. is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in Business Development/Project Management in the biotech/pharma sector. Previous experience at a CDMO will be considered a strong asset.
- Excellent command of English, with strong internal and client-facing communication skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.
- High proficiency in project management and planning.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and high quality.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet results and deadlines, and a positive attitude toward change.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to take risks, and ability to multitask.
- High level of autonomy, responsibility, proactivity, and attention to detail.
