\/>\n<\/h1>\n<div>VIVEbiotech has dedicated Process Development Upstream (USP) and Process Development Downstream (DSP) departments focused on process optimization, aiming to deliver efficient, scalable and compliant production of functional, cost-effective vectors for both ex vivo and in vivo administration.<\/div>\n<div>Importantly, VIVEbiotech\u00b4s manufacturing platform is the same for Developmental Engineering and GMP batches.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<hr>\n<div>The Upstream Development Department is in charge of:\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Adjusting the initial seed-train expansion process.<\/li>\n<li>Defining optimal seeding conditions for bioreactors.<\/li>\n<li>Selecting the best conditions for transfection.<\/li>\n<li>Defining the optimal conditions for harvesting.<\/li>\n<li>Determining in-process controls (IPCs).<\/li>\n<li>Testing new technologies with the constant objective of enhancing productivity during USP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<p>The Downstream Development Department is in charge of:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Optimizing chromatographic process performance.<\/li>\n<li>Adjusting tangential flow filtration (TFF).<\/li>\n<li>Developing the best approach to Fill &amp; Finish (F&amp;F) operations.<\/li>\n<li>Determining in-process controls (IPCs).<\/li>\n<li>Testing new technologies with the constant objective of enhancing productivity during DSP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>Once our development and optimization strategy has been completed, our ultimate goal is to
