Your role
We are looking for a Leader of Financial Operational Excellence, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Your mission will be to lead the optimization, standardization and digitization of financial processes, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, internal control and support for the growth of the CDMO…
Your responsibilities
- Develop SOPs, workflows, and structured departmental documentation.
- Analyze, map, and redesign financial processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, controlling, reporting, cost accounting).
- Identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions using continuous improvement methodologies.
- Drive digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement projects.
- Design and implement internal controls aligned with GxP and data integrity.
- Develop SOPs, workflows, and structured departmental documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects with Operations, Supply Chain, QA, IT, and HR.
- Develop financial KPIs and dashboards for continuous improvement.
- Support the CFO in strategic initiatives (pricing, profitability, investments).
About you
We are looking for someone with:
- You have at least 5 years of previous experience in the financial area, with a strong focus on process improvement, operational excellence, or consulting.
- You hold a degree in Business Administration (ADE) or an equivalent qualification.
- You have a Master’s degree or specialization in Finance and/or Digitalization.
- You have an advanced level of English (minimum C1).
- Proven participation in financial digitalization and automation projects will be highly valued.
- You demonstrate the ability to identify and propose process improvement opportunities.
- You have a strong ability to work in teams and a clear results-oriented mindset.
- You show a strong analytical and process-oriented mindset.
- You display cross-functional leadership and team development capabilities.
- You are an organized person, with a strong focus on planning and management by objectives.
- Residence in Gipuzkoa (or willingness to relocate to the area) will be positively valued.
