Analytical Methods Development Lab Technician

We are looking for an Analytical Methods Development Laboratory Technician to perform this key role in the company.

Your mission will be to organize and execute the operations of the studies and experiments necessary for the development of analytical methods, guaranteeing compliance with the development plan and the company’s commercial plan. Work closely with your section manager to achieve the strategic objectives of the company and our customers. Cooperate with the different departments of the organization to provide specialized technical support in analytical characterization methods.

• Implement new ideas in collaboration with the Analytical Method Development Manager, proposing improvements and reporting incidents, with the aim of continuously optimizing analytical methods.
• Carry out analytical development studies and experiments, both for client and internal projects, to respond to the established requirements.
• Work as a team to properly execute the tasks necessary to carry out the projects within the defined deadlines.
• Accurately document the results obtained to ensure their traceability and the correct transfer and implementation of the solutions developed.
• Support other development sections of the department with the necessary versatility as a Technician in times of major workload.
• Actively collaborate in the department’s documentary tasks: drafting SOPs, equipment technical sheets, work guides, material orders, records, among others.
• Proactively give ideas for continuous improvement cost/effectiveness related to their knowledge, experience and execution of their role in order to collaborate in achieving the objectives of their entire team or section.
• Report to your direct manager any outstanding incident that affects the smooth running of your activity or the activity of your team or section.
• Carry out the functions of your position respecting the values of the Company’s culture inside and outside your team.

We are looking for someone with:

• Vocational Training, Higher Degree or University Degree related to Virology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biological Engineering or Chemistry.
• You have a related Master’s degree.
• You have knowledge in Molecular Biology techniques, Virology, as well as in Biotechnology and/or Biochemistry.
• You have previous experience working under GxP regulations.
• You demonstrate a high capacity for teamwork and orientation to results.
